Sydneysiders looking to swap traffic, shopping centres and crowded city venues for rolling countryside, live music and long lunches have a new reason to head south-west this winter.

From 22 June to 31 July, Camden Valley Inn will transform into a one-stop winter destination, delivering six weeks of markets, country-themed entertainment, family-friendly activities, food and drink experiences, and unique events, all less than an hour from Sydney CBD.

Set across five acres of picturesque countryside, the venue’s winter program combines everything needed for the perfect weekend escape, from fresh local produce and live entertainment to school holiday activities, happy hours and ticketed experiences.

Whether you’re looking for a family day out, a girls’ weekend catch-up or a relaxed afternoon in the country, Camden Valley Inn is bringing together the best of winter under one roof.

“We wanted to create a destination that gives people a reason to get out of the city and experience everything that makes winter great, good food, live entertainment, fresh country air and memorable experiences,” said Kayla Seeney, General Manager of Camden Valley Inn.

Families looking for affordable school holiday fun can take advantage of a number of free activities designed to keep the children entertained. Highlights include an inflatable obstacle course, pony rides, a Highland Cow visit and a planting workshop.

Adding to the country charm, Camden Valley Inn will launch its first-ever Farmers Market on Sunday 28 June from 8am–11am, bringing fresh local produce, artisan goods and community spirit to the venue.

For those looking for something a little different, the venue is also hosting a number of ticketed experiences, including a Pinot & Picasso paint and sip session and a Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Masterclass.

Music lovers won’t want to miss Country Weekend from 10–12 July, featuring live music, line dancing, a hat-burning pop-up activation and family entertainment.

“Whether you’re bringing the kids for the school holidays, catching up with friends over cocktails, browsing the farmers market or enjoying live entertainment, there’s something happening every week,” noted Seeney.
