Lewis Land acquired The Komo Hotel in September 2020 as a strategic addition to the company’s Queensland hospitality portfolio.

Since opening in 2011 on Queensland’s Redcliffe Peninsula, this iconic venue has established itself as one of Queensland’s premier hospitality destinations, recognised through multiple Queensland and Australian Hotel Association Awards.

A comprehensive $3 million renovation completed in 2020 enhanced the venue’s competitive advantages, with the redesigned raised terrace capitalising on trademark views across Moreton Bay to Moreton Island. The elevated positioning maximises the stunning waterfront vista whilst creating distinctive outdoor dining spaces just 30 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD.

The venue features numerous bars, dining options, and the newest events space on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Following comprehensive renovations in January 2025, the Level 1 Events space with waterfront views provides premium conference and wedding facilities.
